2026 Mines Athletics Homecoming Tailgate!

Mines Athletics is proud to announce a tailgating event that will be held prior to the
Homecoming football game on October 3!
As part of the commemoration of Colorado School of Mines' Homecoming, the event will be held in the Steinhauer Fieldhouse beginning at 10 a.m. leading up to the Orediggers' contest with Black Hills State at 12 p.m. Guests are encouraged to show their Mines spirit and rep their favorite game day outfit. With the purchase of a ticket, guests will be able to enjoy endless food and drink while enjoying live music, along with a silent auction benefiting Mines Athletics featuring can't-miss and high-profile items, as well as a bounce house, face painting, and more. This event is being held in lieu of the Harry D. Campbell Mines Hall of Fame and Auction, which has usually been held during homecoming weekend in previous years.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online, or in person on the day of the event. Parking will be available in the garage located at 14th and Maple streets.
There will be a silent auction available online and in person at the event, and will remain open through halftime of Saturday's football game. Funds raised through the silent auction allow for continued competition at a championship level for all Mines coaches and student-athletes. Silent auction items will include one-of-a-kind Mines Athletics apparel, gift certificates, trips, golf outings, sports memorabilia and more. Be sure to check back regularly through the week as more items will be added heading into the weekend.
Registration fees may be tax-deductible and all proceeds will directly benefit Mines Athletics and our nearly 500 student-athletes.
