2024-25 CSC Academic All-America Women's XC/T&F Teams
GOLDEN, Colo. - Three members of the Colorado School of Mines women's cross country/track & field programs have been named Academic All-Americans by the College Sports Communicators organization.

Jenna Ramsey-Rutledge was named a First-Team Academic All-American, while triple jumper
Claire Kintzley and pole vaulter
Dale Thompson were named to the Second Team. It is the first honor for all three, who were each named to the CSC Academic All-District team in June.
Kintzley became Mines' first-ever women's triple jump all-American at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships, finishing seventh as she smashed the program record at 12.40m. Kintzley was USTFCCCA All-Region in the triple jump both indoors and out, earning RMAC bronze medals in both seasons. Kintzley received a master's degree in data science in May, her second Mines diploma along with a B.S. in computer science.
Ramsey-Rutledge had an outstanding 2024-25 earning USTFCCCA All-America honors in all three seasons, including her NCAA Division II national championship in the indoor 5,000m. Her third-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships was the highest ever by an Oredigger woman, and she followed that up with NCAA gold indoors in the 5K while being named the RMAC Co-Track Athlete of the Year. Outdoors, she was a podium finisher at NCAAs in both the 5K and 10K, including the 10K silver medal, while also winning the RMAC title in the 5,000m. Ramsey-Rutledge earned her B.S. in applied mathematics and statistics in May.
Thompson qualified for the NCAA Championships in the pole vault both indoors and outdoors as a senior in 2025. She earned USTFCCCA All-Region in both seasons, and was the outdoor RMAC champion and indoor silver medalist in the pole vault; her indoor season best of 3.98m qualified her for NCAA Championships, and a career-best 4.03m got her to the outdoor meet. Thompson earned her second Mines degree, a master's in chemistry, in May and also holds a B.S. in biochemistry.
All honorees must have a 3.5 or above GPA while holding sophomore or higher academic standing. Academic All-America awards are voted on by the nation's sports information directors.
Since 1972, Colorado School of Mines' 211 Academic All-America recipients are the most by any NCAA Division II member.
