GOLDEN, Colo
. - Colorado School of Mines shortstop Clara Larson has earned her third all-America honor of the postseason, this time being named an Honorable Mention All-American by Fastpitch News.

Larson had previously won awards from the NFCA and D2CCA, as well as Academic All-America honors from CoSIDA. Larson was previously named a D2CCA First-Team All-Region, and NFCA First-Team All-South Central this season.

Larson produced a record-setting season as a sophomore for the Orediggers, hitting .425 and slugging .839 with 15 home runs, 64 RBI, and 21 doubles. Her 64 RBI set the program single-season record, and she tied the single-season home run mark as she became only the second Oredigger and first since 1994 to slug over .800 in a season. Larson walked 23 times and stole 11 bases as she used her .493 on-base percentage to convert 59 runs. Larson completed the fifth-longest hitting streak in program history this season at 16 games, and notched 20 multi-hit and 19 multi-RBI games in 2018.

Also a First-Team All-RMAC selection, Larson was the RMAC Player of the Week on April 10 and was an RMAC Academic Honor Roll member. She was named the team's Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player.
