GOLDEN – With the 2013-14 athletic year underway, CSMOrediggers.com recently resumed one its most popular segments, sitting down with Colorado School of Mines women's soccer senior Jordan Hopper to talk about her least favorite conditioning drill, favorite food to prepare and most ideal day, among others.
A native of Houston, Texas, Hopper has helped the NSCAA No. 5 Orediggers (9-0-1, 6-0 RMAC) to their best start in program history as well as a 24-match unbeaten streak, longest in school annals and tied for 14th-longest all-time in Division II.
As anchor of the top defense in the conference, Hopper has led the back third to national rankings of fifth in goals against average (.195), save percentage (.946) and shutout percentage (.800).
The Petroleum Engineering earned her first point of the season against New Mexico Highlands last weekend, assisting on classmate Anna Evans' goal in the 75th minute.
