GOLDEN – The No. 18 Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team will take its unblemished record on the road in RMAC play for the first time this season this weekend, when the squad travels to face Chadron State and Black Hills State on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

The Orediggers (6-0, 2-0 RMAC) and Eagles (4-2, 1-1 RMAC) will tip at 6 p.m. on Saturday before the Yellow Jackets (4-1, 2-0 RMAC) will play host to the squad on Sunday at 4 p.m.

The consecutive 100-point scoring nights marked the first time in head coach Pryor Orser's tenure that the squad has recorded back-to-back 100-point outputs. The closest the squad had been to consecutive 100-plus scoring outputs during Orser's tenure prior to Saturday came during the 2002-03 campaign, where Mines defeated Grandview (112-76) and Western State (113-94) in a five-game span.

Mines shot 58.3 percent from the field and 56.3 percent from the perimeter in the two wins, while limiting its two opponents to 36.7 percent shooting from the field, including 29.5 percent from the perimeter. Green, already a member of Mines' 1,000-point club, is also currently the program leader in career free throw percentage with a mark of 85.3 (359-of-421) ahead of 2013 Mines Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Stephen Bahl (2001-05), who ended his career with a mark of 83.6 (443-of-530).
