GOLDEN – Despite being three days into Spring, more snow accumulation as well as sub-freezing temperatures in the Golden area have resulted in a cancellation of today's three softball games at CSM Softball Field, as announced early this morning by Colorado School of Mines athletic department officials.

Saturday's finale of the three-team round-robin conference series was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. with Colorado Mesa and Metro State, followed by Mines and CMU at 12 p.m. and the Orediggers and MSUD at 2 p.m.

No make-up dates have been set.
