GOLDEN – Oredigger fans that are unable to make it to the Oct. 16 Mines football contest at Fort Lewis in Durango can join other Mines fans during a watch party at Jackson's in Denver, next Thursday beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Light appetizers and drinks will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional activities include a cornhole tournament, game day t-shirts and other Mines gear giveaways. Everyone ages 18-and-older is welcome to come.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and CBS Sports Network are in their ninth year partnering together to feature a "Division II Game of the Week.  

Mines' game is one of seven NCAA Division II games scheduled to be broadcast on CBS Sports Network in 2014. The CBS Sports Division II Game of the Week featuring the No. 16 Orediggers (5-0, 3-0 RMAC) against the Skyhawks (1-4, 0-3 RMAC) will be televised nationally at 6:00 p.m.

CBS Sports Network is available in over 100 million homes. Locally, CBS Sports Network is Comcast Xfinity Cable 412 (846 HD), Direct TV channel 221, and Dish Network channel 158.  The game will also be available online at www.ncaa.com.
