CHADRON, Neb. – Sunday's RMAC softball games between Chadron State, Colorado School of Mines and UC-Colorado Springs at Pioneer Park in Sterling have been canceled, CSC head coach Dr. Rob Stack announced Sunday morning.

Over four inches of snow fell overnight at Pioneer Park.

The games were originally scheduled to be played at CSC Softball Field in Chadron, Neb., but were forced south due to poor weather forecasts that included sub-30 degree temperatures and high winds. Two games were completed Saturday, before the final game between UCCS and Chadron State was called in the third inning.

Mines (5-6) returns to CSM Softball Field for a four-game weekend series against Black Hills State, beginning with a 12 p.m. doubleheader Saturday, March 1.
