PUEBLO – Led by senior men's discus champion Austin Roup, the field disciplines continued to shine for Colorado School of Mines track and field at the 2015 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, combining for all four of the teams' all-conference selections Saturday.
Roup bested 22 other throwers to win his first RMAC gold medal, lofting a NCAA provisional spin 163-3 (49.76m).
Senior Seun Ogunmodede claimed third out of 16 in the long jump for the second consecutive season with a distance of 22-6.5 (6.87m)
The women's pole vault tandem of freshman Addy Neibauer and sophomore Jessie Berndsen added a pair of All-RMAC efforts as Neibauer debuted runner-up of 10 at 11-1 (3.38m) and Berndsen scored fourth via 10-7 (3.23m).
Junior Ann Miller timed her third straight provisional in the 3000-meter steeplechase, crossing sixth among 17 in 11:14.61.
The Oredigger men remained first in the team rankings behind 66 points through seven events, while the women climbed into sixth with a 27-point tally.
The championship finals begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl in Pueblo.
