THE WEEK AHEAD
It will be a split week for Mines as they visit Regis on Tuesday for a non-league game, then host their regular season home finale Sunday against Black Hills State at noon. The Black Hills game will be Senior Day for the Orediggers.
IN THE POLLS
After the loss at Western State on Sunday, Mines dropped from #3 to #10 in this week's NSCAA Top 25. Mines also dropped to second in the NSCAA South Central Regional ranking behind St. Edward's. Â Â
IN THE STANDINGS
With 21 points, Mines sits atop the RMAC standings by three points over CSU-Pueblo and Westminster. A win over Black Hills State on Sunday would clinch Mines an RMAC Tournament berth.

EARLIER THIS YEAR VS. REGIS
Mines and Regis met on Sept. 18 at Stermole Stadium, with the Orediggers winning a double-overtime thriller on
Emily Townsend's 101st-minute goal. Mines allowed only a single shot on goal in the game while Rangers' keeper Kat Crump made five saves to keep her side in it.
THE SERIES
Mines and Regis will meet for the 23rd time today, tied for the most-played series in program history. The Orediggers hold a 14-8-0 series lead; each of their last three games were decided in overtime, with Mines going 2-1 in those games. Mines and Black Hills State will meet for the first time in the Yellow Jackets' first year of competition.
MINES QUICK LOOK
The Orediggers are 12-2 overall and 7-2 in RMAC play after falling in overtime at Western State on Sunday, 3-2. Mines has allowed only 0.50 goals per game this season, and
Sam Zumbro has a .806 save percentage. Offensively,
Emily Townsend and
Jaclyn Knott lead the team with five goals each, and Knott has been on fire with all five of her scores coming over the last four games.
Emily Garnier has handed out seven assists for a team-best 13 points.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
Regis is 5-6-2 overall and 5-3-1 in RMAC play, but since losing to Mines on Sept. 18, the Rangers have been one of the league's hottest teams with a 5-1-1 record. Tori Rinsem has a team-high seven goals, and Mickie Piechowski and Sade Akindele each have four. Kat Crump has played every minute of the season in goal with a 1.40 GAA. Black Hills State is in their inaugural season of competition. The Yellow Jackets are 1-12 overall and 0-8 in RMAC play, earning their first win against Dakota Wesleyan. BHSU has been outscored 21-1 over their last four RMAC games. Katie Nielson has driven the offense with a team-best five goals, and Rose Miller has scored three with a team-high three assists.
