Box Score
Luke Schroepfer's career night paced Colorado School of Mines to its ninth straight win, routing CSU-Pueblo 98-78.

The Orediggers (21-6, 16-5 RMAC) avenged their loss to the Thunderwolves (15-12, 11-10 RMAC) from earlier in the season. Since that loss on Jan. 22, Mines has reeled off nine straight wins in impressive fashion.

Mines' win, combined with MSU Denver's victory over Black Hills State, means the Orediggers must beat Colorado Christian – or have MSU Denver lose to UCCS – on the final day of the regular season in order to clinch the RMAC's #2 seed and a home RMAC Shootout quarterfinal.

Schroepfer drained a career-high 30 points, hitting his first six shots and going 10-of-16 overall with six three-pointers.

Mines raced out to an early 18-4 lead and never looked back. The Thunderwolves cut it as close as six late in the first half thanks to foul shooting and some timely three-pointers. But Mines pulled away in the second half, keyed on an 8-0 run early and eventually going up 22 when Garrett Loew hit a three form the wing at the 9:04 mark.

It was all Orediggers after that, never letting the lead sink below 18 points to win going away.
