How It Happened
Colorado School of Mines (1-2-1) was forced to settle for a 0-0 draw at Point Loma (1-0-3) in the Orediggers final game in California on Saturday, September 10.
The Orediggers came out looking for a goal early as they put up four shots with in the first 15 minutes of the contest. After a header save by goalkeeper

Point Loma showed a lot more fight in OT as they came out and nearly won the game 29 seconds in, but
Leo Chely kept the Sea Lions off the board. The PLU offensive onslaught continued into overtime as they put up seven shots in total over the majority of the two extra time periods, but Mines nearly stole the match at the end.
