Blarr Ties Assists Mark In 3-0 Win

GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines shut out South Dakota Mines, 3-0, with Ryan Blarr tying a program record by handing out three assists.

Adam Fox, Ashi Geberkidane, and John Haist provided the goals as the Orediggers (5-3-1, 4-1 RMAC) dominated the game with an 18-8 shots advantage.

Fox got things started quickly when Blarr put a long cross to his head, and Fox finished at the far post at 8:59. It stayed 1-0 until the second half when Geberkidane potted from Haist's flick of Blarr's endline run at 64', and Blarr rifled a fantastic cross to Haist's head at 77'.

Leo Chely was outstanding to earn the shutout, making several key stops including swatting away a corner late in the first half and stoning Justin Barkow's breakaway in the second.
