OREDIGGERS SWEEP FORT LEWIS
Mines brought its bats as it scored 47 total runs in sweeping four games from Fort Lewis last weekend to open RMAC play. The Orediggers swept their first RMAC series since 2014 as they hit a team .456 and slugged .796 for the weekend.

Hallie Smith picking up two saves.
LARSON EARNS RMAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR
Freshman shortstop
Clara Larson was named the RMAC Softball Player of the Week on Tuesday after some huge numbers in the Fort Lewis series. Larson hit .615 (8-of-13) with 8 RBIs, 2 home runs, two doubles, a triple, and two walks in the four games, slugging 1.385 with a .647 on-base percentage. This season, Larson is slashing .471/.487/.912 with a team-best 13 RBI, 3 home runs, and 11 runs scored.
WE'RE GOING STREAKING!
Mines' seven-game win streak is its longest since a 12-game run back in 2013. After dropping their first three games of the season, the Orediggers have not lost while sweeping series with Concordia Irvine and Fort Lewis.
AT THE PLATE
Larson leads Mines at the plate in the early going of the season, but the Orediggers have plenty of other bats heating up.
Katie Leiker (.433/.528/.733) has 12 RBI and two home runs this season while
Sonoma Toot is slugging .531 with nine runs scored.
Paige Noehring – who hit a walk-off inside-the-park home run against Fort Lewis in the first game of the series – is batting .313 while
Loren Dempsey has emerged with a .313 average this season.
IN THE CIRCLE
Coming into the weekend, Mines owns the RMAC's best staff ERA at 2.93 and opposing batting average at .239. Freshman
Claire Stringfellow (4-1) is second in the league with a 2.80 ERA, with
Maddie Rogers sixth (1-0, 3.09) and
Hallie Smith seventh (2-2, 3.14). They will face the RMAC's ERA leader this weekend in Regis' Logan Losh, who is 8-3 with a 2.01 ERA.
MOVING ON UP
Senior
Paige Noehring enters the weekend with 190 career hits, putting her eighth on the Mines all-time list after last weekend's games. Molly Thiebaut (193 from 2010-13) and Macy Jones (194 from 2010-13) are up next as Noehring tries to be the sixth Oredigger to surpass 200 career hits.
LAST YEAR VS. REGIS
Regis took three out of four in Denver, with Mines winning the getaway game in the series with a four-run seventh inning capped by
Brielle Asato's walkoff infield single.
