SCHEDULE CHANGE
Due to rain and snow forecast across Colorado on Saturday, the series at Adams State has been changed to a Sunday-Monday format with doubleheaders each day. Sunday will start at noon and Monday at 11 a.m.

IN THE RMAC STANDINGS
Despite being swept by #24 Colorado Mesa last weekend, Mines remains well-positioned in the RMAC standings in third place at 17-9 overall and 14-6 in league play. MSU Denver leads the league (18-2) followed by Colorado Mesa (17-2). Adams State is fighting to stay in playoff contention, currently in eighth at 10-20 overall and 9-11 RMAC.

IN THE CIRCLE
Mines boasts the RMAC's #2 team ERA (2.87) and is the only staff in the league to boast three starters with ERAs under 3.10 with Hallie Smith (2.75), Claire Stringfellow (3.00), and Maddie Rogers (3.06) all ranking in the RMAC top 10 in ERA.

OUTSTANDING IN OUR FIELD
After ranking eighth in the league last year with a .944 fielding percentage and 70 errors, Mines is much improved in 2017 sitting fourth with a .961 fielding percentage, on pace for 11 fewer errors than a year ago. Mines turned only eight double plays a year ago (next to last in the RMAC), but this season leads the league by turning two 16 times.

MOVING ON UP
Senior centerfielder Paige Noehring is nearing the Mines' career stolen bases record, moving into second place all-time two weeks ago as she now has 43. The record of 45 is held by Kaleigh Starr (2007-10). With 210 career hits, Noehring is tied for fifth on the Mines career list with Sami Springer (2011-14), and she is also cracking into a few other career categories, now tied for eighth in career runs (116), ninth in at-bats (569), and eighth in doubles (35).

THE CENTURY CLUB
Noehring is one of two active Orediggers with triple digit career hits, as Sonoma Toot joined the century club against Black Hills State earlier this season and currently has 105 hits. Pua Fujinaga is next on the active list with 86 career hits.
