THIS WEEK
The Colorado School of Mines Women's Basketball team schedule features a pair of rematches on the road at Colorado Christian Tuesday and South Dakota Mines Saturday. At 4-12 in the RMAC and 6-15 overall, CCU is a long shot to make the postseason but has recorded half its RMAC wins at home. South Dakota Mines boasts a 9-8 league record and a 14-9 mark overall. The Hardrockers are just one game out of a berth in the RMAC Tournament.

LAST WEEKEND
Mines suffered a tough, 59-50 loss to Regis last Saturday inside Lockridge Arena. Elizabeth Tomon led the way with 14 points and seven rebounds, and Raven Herrera Williams scored in double digits for a second-straight game with 13 points. However, 39-percent shooting from the field put a damper on the Oredigger's hopes for victory. Saturday featured a 71-55 victory over Chadron State as Mines used a balanced scoring attack with four putting up double figures.

SECOND TIME AROUND
The Orediggers hosted South Dakota Mines Dec. 9 and easily defeated the Hardrockers 77-59. Four scored in double digits with Anna Kollmorgen leading the way with 16 points. Elizabeth Tomon grabbed 13 rebounds in the win. Colorado Christian came to Lockridge Arena Jan. 23 and were dealt a 72-45, lopsided loss as Nicole Archambeau went off for 26 points and 12 rebounds. Kollmorgen added 19 points and four boards. Mikaela Moore dealt out a career-high seven assists in the win.

APPROACHING 1,000
Senior guard Emily Bailey is just three points away from 1,000 for her career. The Oregonian finished last week with 25 points. Averaging 12.2 points per game, Bailey should easily surpass the milestone Tuesday at Colorado Christian and become the eighth Oredigger with 1,000 career points.

POSTSEASON OUTLOOK
The RMAC standings remain compact with six games left to play in the regular season. CSU-Pueblo leads the way at 15-2 in the conference and 17-6 overall. Fort Lewis and MSU Denver are tied for second with a 12-5 RMAC mark. Mines sits in a tied for fourth with Regis at 11-5 and Black Hills State is locked up with Westminster in a tie for sixth at 11-6. Colorado Mesa (10-7) currently holds the eighth and final spot in the RMAC Tournament. However, with just two games separating the second-place and eighth-place teams, Mines cannot afford to take any games for granted down the stretch.

RMAC LEADERS
As a team, Mines continues to lead the RMAC on the boards this season, generating 42.5 total rebounds per game. The Orediggers also lead the league in defensive rebounding at 29.7 boards per game. Mines boasts the fewest turnovers in the conference with just 273 on the season. Individually, Nicole Archambeau leads the RMAC with 9.7 rebounds per game including a league-best 174 defensive boards. Emily Bailey is tied for third in the league with 1.2 blocked shots per game.

OREDIGGERS ON CET
The RMAC opened the new year with the announcement that five Colorado School of Mines basketball games were selected to air on Comcast Entertainment Television in February. Mines' home doubleheaders against Regis on Feb. 2 and Fort Lewis on Feb. 16 will have both the women's and men's games televised, while Mines' men's game at MSU Denver on Feb. 24 will also air on CET. As a result, all five game times have changed; the two home doubleheaders will now be 5 p.m./7 p.m. tip-offs changed from 6 p.m./8 p.m., while the men's game at MSU Denver is pushed back to a 7:30 p.m. start time from 7 p.m.
