Matt Sparks the Men's Outdoor Coach of the Year as it announced the 2018 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Awards and All-Conference teams on Wednesday.
The pair were joined by 41 total all-RMAC selections for the Orediggers; first-team status goes to the top three finishers in each event at RMAC Championships with spots 4-6 earning second-team honors.
Â
The NCAA Championships-bound Coleman claimed the title of top freshman in the RMAC after winning the discus title at the 2018 RMAC Outdoor Championships. She also garnered First-Team All-RMAC honors in the hammer throw, finishing third at the meet. Coleman owns the ninth-best discus mark in NCAA Division II this season. She also holds Mines' record in the discus and hammer throw with the No. 3 all-time mark in the shot put and the fifth-best javelin toss in program history.
