GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines has announced the final piece of its 2020 football schedule, signing a two-year home-and-home agreement with West Texas A&M.
The Orediggers will host the Buffs in Week 4 of 2020, then head to Canyon in Week 4 of 2021. It will be the first meeting between the two teams.
The announcement fills out Mines' non-conference schedule for 2020-21 as the Orediggers had already announced a series with Angelo State to fill Week 1 in both years. Mines will visit ASU on Thursday, Sept. 3 to start the 2020 season. The remainder of the schedule includes an all-new RMAC cycle including home games against Fort Lewis (Sept. 12), Black Hills State (Oct. 10), Colorado (Oct. 24), and CSU-Pueblo (Nov. 7).
In addition to the Angelo State opener, the Orediggers go on the road to New Mexico Highlands (Sept. 12), Western Colorado (Oct. 3), South Dakota Mines (Oct. 17), Chadron State (Oct. 31), and Adams State (Nov. 14) in the regular-season finale.
