COLORADO SPRINGS - For the first time in his career, Colorado School of Mines junior
Brendan Sullivan is the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week.
Sullivan impressed in a 2-0 weekend for #5 Mines, averaging 27.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game to lead the unbeaten Orediggers to a 6-0 record to start the season. In a win over Western Colorado on Friday, he scored a game-high 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting and added eight rebounds and two assists. He erupted for a career-high 31 points in a close win over Fort Lewis on Saturday, going 10-of-14 overall and 10-of-13 at the line along with four boards, four assists, three blocks, and a steal.
This season, Sullivan leads Mines in multiple categories averaging 17.8 points, 2.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, while shooting .542 overall. He also adds 4.5 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game.
Mines is on break for the holidays and retursn to action Jan. 3 at Chadron State.
