FINAL RESULTS
GOLDEN, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines Track & Field teams closed out Front Range #3 on Saturday with strong performances in multiple events at Steinhauer Fieldhouse.

Hannah Miller and
Avery Herbold provided the first highlights of the day in the pole vault. Both Miller and Herbold improved their NCAA provisional marks as Miller cleared 3.97 meters (13-0.25) and Herbold soared over 3.72 meters (12-2.50). Miller also went after her own program record with the bar at 4.03 meters (13-2.5). The sophomore Miller upped her national rank to #8 and Herbold rose to #26 while improving #2 all-time program mark.

Running action opened after the pole vault with the 400-meter dash to start. Four of five Orediggers turned in sub-minute performances in that event.
Joey Maguire ran 51.75 on the men's side. For the women,
Aryelle Wright ran 59.24,
Randi Higashi finished in 59.43 and
Layla Moriarty crossed in 59.82. Wright improved her all-time program ranking to #5. Those performances brought momentum to the 60-meter hurdles where true freshman
Everett Delate upped his personal record with a time of 8.25 which ranks third all-time at Mines. Delate followed the hurdles with a 7.15 time in the 60-meter dash while
John Sass was just behind at 7.16.

In the final event of the day that included Oredigger student-athletes,
Ben Abueg and
Troy Kneese produced quality performances in the 800-meter run. Abueg raced to the finish line in 1:57.23. Kneese's final time was 1:58.13 Both performances proved just seconds away from NCAA provisional times. The 3,000-meter run finished the meet, but featured only runners from Colorado Christian.

The last day of the Front Range #3 event also featured competitors from Colorado Christian, MSU Denver and NCAA Division I Colorado. Capacity was limited, competitors were required to turn in a negative COVID-19 test the week of the event, and anyone not actively competing was required to wear a mask. No spectators were allowed, but the event was streamed live on the RMAC Network. A full listing of the final results are linked above and at www.minesathletics.com.
