The duo have led the Orediggers (18-2) to this week's NCAA Elite Eight, where Mines will take on Lincoln Memorial Wednesday at 11 a.m. MT. It is the first all-region selection for both; the NABC All-America team will be announced on Tuesday. Sullivan earned a first-team spot and Betts was named to the second team.

Sullivan, a junior, was also named the RMAC Player of the Year and First-Team All-RMAC in the midst of a terrific year. The Pueblo native averages 12.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.0 steals per game, shooting .450 overall, .463 for three, and .796 at the line. Betts has crossed 20 points three times this season, most recently in the RMAC Tournament final at Colorado Mesa (20 point), and he has also contributed in a big way to Mines' defense at +12.1 per game, which ranks third on the team.
