OREDIGGERS HOST HOME RMAC WEEKEND
Still unbeaten this season, #13 Colorado School of Mines hopes to keep that streak going as it hosts Adams State and CSU Pueblo this weekend in a pair of conference games. It will be the only two home RMAC matches hosted by Mines this spring.
FAN POLICY
Colorado School of Mines maintains a campus-wide no-guests policy and as a result, no spectators will be admitted for this weekend's games.
LIVE COVERAGE
Both matches will stream live on the RMAC Network at

Live stats are also available via minesathletics.com.
SENIOR DAY
Sunday's game will be Senior Day for the Orediggers as they honor midfielder
Chaney Brugman and defender
Samantha Scott. Brugman, a captain this season, has scored eight career goals and is a two-year starter in the central attacking midfield. Scott, a three-year program member, has appeared in 15 matches including a starting role at center back this season where she has helped Mines to a 0.25 GAA.
IN THE POLLS
In February, Mines was announced as the top pick in the RMAC preseason coaches' poll. The Orediggers received 137 points and eight of the 12 first-place votes to lead UCCS, Westminster, Fort Lewis, and MSU Denver in the top five. The United Soccer Coaches' national poll also recognized Mines' good start with a #13 ranking this week, up five spots from the previous poll.
LAST TIME OUT
Eliot Edwards' 12th-minute goal held up to give Mines their third straight victory, 1-0, at Colorado Christian to open the RMAC schedule on Sunday. The Orediggers (3-0-1) outshot the Cougars 16-8 but were in control virtually the entire game.
Sierra Roth recorded three saves in the shutout.
KEEPING IT CLEAN
The Orediggers own three straight clean sheets heading into this weekend, outscoring opponents 8-0 in that span. Mines has allowed just 6.3 shots per game in the current scoreless streak.
DOUBLE DUTY
Forward
Amena Nelson has been a two-sport athlete throughout her career at Mines, playing soccer in the fall and then sprinting for track in the winter and spring. That's a lot, but doable in a normal year. But this isn't a normal year, and Nelson proved that last weekend when she did double duty with both teams in the span of two days. On Saturday, she was at CSU Pueblo as part of Mines' 4x400 team that set a new program record in 3:56.25, and she also ran in the 200m and 400m. Then on Sunday it was back to the pitch with Mines soccer where she played 40 minutes up front at Colorado Christian.
SCOUTING ADAMS STATE
The Grizzlies are 1-2 overall and 0-1 in RMAC play, winning at Western 1-0 to start the spring but losing 4-1 to Fort Lewis and 1-0 to CSU Pueblo since. They allow 15.0 shots per game while taking 6.0; Carena Harrison and Jayne Scheiss have ASU's goals, while Ashley Beers has started all three matches in goal with a 1.66 GAA. Mines leads the all-time series 13-2-1 and has not lost to the Grizzlies since 2005.
SCOUTING CSU PUEBLO
The Thunderwolves are off to a good start at 3-1-0 overall and 1-0-0 in RMAC play after beating Adams State 1-0 on Sunday. They also won at Colorado Mesa and at home against MSU Denver; their lone loss came to UCCS. CSUP takes 11.3 shots per game and allows 13.5. Litzy Serna has been one of the RMAC's top scorers so far with three goals and an assist; Taylor Potter has their other goal. Mines is 15-8-2 all-time against CSU Pueblo including four straight victories dating back to the 2016 season.
LOOKING AHEAD
Mines heads out to visit Fort Lewis on Thursday, April 1 and Western Colorado on Saturday, April 3 to wrap up RMAC play. The Orediggers host FC Boulder in a friendly on April 8 before the RMAC Tournament starts on April 19.
