DENVER - Colorado School of Mines football will return to KWGN Colorado's Own Channel 2 with five home games televised this fall.
KWGN will carry the Orediggers' five home RMAC games including match-ups against New Mexico Highlands (Sept. 11), Western Colorado (Oct. 2), South Dakota Mines (Oct. 16), Chadron State (Oct. 30), and Adams State (Nov. 13). All games are noon start times and
will also stream simultaneously on the RMAC Network. The Sept. 2 season opener against Western Oregon will be exclusively on the RMAC Network.
During the 2019 season, KWGN carried five Mines games in the Orediggers' run to an undefeated RMAC title. It rekindled a historic relationship between Mines and Channel 2; in 1952, the first televised football game in Colorado was carried on Channel 2 (then known as KFEL) as the Orediggers hosted Idaho State at Brooks Field.
KWGN Colorado's Own Channel 2 is Denver's CW affiliate available over the air throughout northeastern Colorado and on cable and satellite systems throughout the state.
