A three-time All-American for women's soccer, Anna Evans becomes that program's second inductee into the Mines Athletics Hall of Fame.

Among an extensive list of career accolades, Evans earned all-America nods in 2010, 2012, and 2013, including NSCAA First-Team status as a senior. She was also a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American (2012, 2013), and was the 2012 RMAC Player of the Year and 2013 Daktronics Regional Player of the Year. She was a four-time NSCAA All-Region and three-time all-RMAC selection.

Evans' prolific goal scoring powered the Oredigger offense as she tallied 55 goals and 23 assists in her career, including 19 game-winning goals. She owns three of the top-five single scoring seasons in program history netting 17 goals in 2012, 14 in 2013, and 13 in 2011, and ranks second all-time at Mines in goals (55) and points (133). Evans is the only Oredigger with both three career overtime golden goals and three overtime assists, and had three career hat tricks.

Mines won three RMAC Tournament titles with Evans starting in 2011, and captained the program's first-ever RMAC regular-season title in her senior 2013 season. Evans was the 2013 RMAC Tournament MVP after scoring both game-winning goals to win that year's title. The team went 65-13-11 during her career and reached the NCAA tournament all four years, including national quarterfinal appearances in 2011 and 2012.

After graduating with a B.S. in mechanical engineering in 2014, Evans played professionally in Sweden for two years, and eventually returned to Mines to receive her M.S. in Advanced Energy Systems in 2021. She is currently working on her PhD in Advanced Energy Systems at Mines while carrying out research at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory focused on water reuse. Evans is a native of Arvada and attended Arvada West.
