AMARILLO, Texas - Colorado School of Mines has wrapped up the first two rounds of the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational at Amarillo Country Club.
The Orediggers are 13th at +20, with just 10 team strokes separating seventh through 13th in a tight middle of the pack. Oklahoma Christian went low in the afternoon to lead the field at -10, with Midwestern State the only other team under par at -3. Mines shot team scores of 294 and 286.
Theodore Reitter and
Lukas Taggart are the top two Orediggers on the leaderboard at T37 (+4). Reitter shot 74 in the morning but came in with an even-par 70, while Taggart carded a pair of 72s.
Max Lange is next at T51 (+6) on rounds of 74 and 72, with
Ethan Adam T58 (+7) after 75 and 72.
Owen Cornmesser's morning 74 counted for the Orediggers before he shot 77 to end up 79th through 36 holes.
Oklahoma Christian's Exequiel Rodriguez leads the field at -6 a shot ahead of teammate Oskari Nikku.
Tuesday's third round will begin with 8:30 a.m. Central tee times.
