COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its weekly award winners for men's basketball Monday afternoon, and Colorado School of Mines forward/center
Adam Krasovec was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week following a 2-0 weekend at Lockridge Arena.
The award is the first of Hungarian's career and comes following a weekend in which he helped Mines to 106-70 and 101-59 wins against MSU Denver and Western Colorado Saturday and Sunday at Lockridge Arena. Krasovec came off the bench in both games, scoring seven points on 3-5 shooting in both contests while recording two blocks in each game and pulling down 2.5 rebounds per game while also adding a pair of steals in 31 total minutes of play for the weekend.
The #10/9 Orediggers will be off for the Christmas holiday and return to action on Saturday December 31 at 5 p.m. on the road at Colorado Christian.
