D2SIDA Week 6 Media Poll
GOLDEN, Colo. – The latest D2SIDA Media Poll was released on Wednesday and saw the Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team remain inside the Top 10 at #9 heading into the Christmas break. There is no new NABC Coaches Poll this week as the Orediggers checked in at #10 in the most recent poll a week ago.
The Orediggers (11-1, 5-1) wrapped up a four-game home stand over the weekend at Lockridge Arena and kicked off winter break in style, posting back-to-back 100-point outings for the first time since the 2013-14 season with a 106-70 win over MSU Denver Saturday night before posting a 101-59 win over Western Colorado Sunday.
Black Hills State moved up one spot in the media poll to #3 while Fort Lewis jumped up four positions to #18 this week. Indiana (PA) takes over the top spot this week after Northwest Missouri State suffered their first loss of the season and dropped to #4 while Nova Southeastern moved up to #2 to finish out the top five.
The Orediggers will take the court one more time in 2022 before the calendar rolls over, heading over to Lakewood for a New Year's Eve clash with Colorado Christian at 5 p.m.
