GOLDEN, Colo.
- Brendan Sullivan has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team for the third consecutive season in recognition of his athletic and academic achievement.

The two-time RMAC Academic Player of the Year, a civil engineering major, has continued to lead Mines (14-8) on the court this season to become one of only five players in the region selected to the team. Sullivan was joined by Black Hills State's Adam Moussa, MSU Denver's Laolu Oke, Lubbock Christian's Parker Hicks, and UAFS' Matthew Wilson.

This season, Sullivan leads Mines in scoring (15.2 ppg), rebounding (4.9 rpg), steals (1.3 spg), and blocks (1.0) while adding 1.8 assists per game and shooting .521/.364/.732 in a team-high 30.6 minutes per game. Sullivan has five 20+ point games this season, and ranks in the RMAC top-10 in scoring, field goal percentage, and blocks.

Eligible student-athletes are sophomores or above with a 3.3 or higher GPA, and all-district recipients move on to the Academic All-America ballot. Sullivan was selected as a Second-Team Academic All-American last season.
