GOLDEN, Colo. - This weekend's softball home opening series between Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Mesa has been shifted forward a day due to the forecast.

The series will now be played with a noon doubleheader on Friday and an 11 a.m. start on Saturday at Joe Coors, Jr. Softball Field. Friday's forecast is favorable with highs in the mid-60s before a storm system moves into Colorado bringing cold and snow over the weekend.
