GOLDEN, Colo. - Wild weather forecast for the first half of this week has caused two changes to the Colorado School of Mines softball schedule:
- Tuesday's non-conference doubleheader at Northern Colorado has been postponed to next Wednesday, March 30 at a start time to be determined.Â
- Wednesday's non-conference doubleheader at MSU Denver has been pushed back a day to Thursday, March 24 with the same start time of 4 p.m.
Early spring weather is always tricky in Colorado and it's no different this week, with the forecasts for both Tuesday and Wednesday predicting wind gusts over 40 mph in Greeley and Denver as the most recent snowstorm exits the region. Thursday should be a fantastic day for softball, however, with a high of 67 and sunshine downtown.Â
The Orediggers will be back at home this weekend to host Fort Lewis beginning Saturday at noon.Â
