2022 Men's Soccer Schedule
 
GOLDEN, Colo. – Colorado School of Mines men's soccer announced its 2022 schedule with 18 matches including nine slated at scenic Stermole Soccer Stadium.
 
The Orediggers (14-4-2, 9-0-1 RMAC, NCAA Second Round in 2021) will face four NCAA Championships qualifiers a total of five times over the course of their 18-match schedule. Among the 2021 qualifiers is Cal Poly Pomona which advanced to the Super Region 4 final (Elite Eight) during the 2021 postseason. The season begins a week earlier than normal with 2022 being a NCAA Division II festival year, with the national championship taking place Dec. 1-3 at Interbay Stadium in Seattle along with the finals for women's soccer, volleyball and cross country.
 
Mines' men tout eight non-conference matches including two against foes from the RMAC. The Orediggers' season starts at home on Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. against Cal State Monterey Bay and continues at home on Aug. 28 at 12 p.m. against San Francisco State. Mines then heads to California where it will take on previously-mentioned Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. (PT)  before heading slightly east to face Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 4 at 11:30 a.m. (PT). The contest at CSUSB marks a rematch from the 2019 NCAA Sweet 16 which Mines dropped 2-1 in California.
 
After their trip to California, the Orediggers return to Stermole Stadium to host Western Washington on Sept. 8 at 5 p.m. and Seattle Pacific on Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. The match against SPU will mark Mines' second showdown against a 2021 NCAA Championships qualifier. Two non-RMAC matches on the road at CSU Pueblo on Sept. 15 and at Westminster on Sept. 18 round out the Orediggers' non-conference schedule. Then, RMAC play begins Sept. 23 at 5 p.m. against Adams State inside Stermole Stadium. Conference action also concludes in Golden on Oct. 23 at 11 a.m. against Westminster on Senior Day and Parent Weekend.
