LAKEWOOD, Colo.
- Theodore Reitter surged to his first career top-10 finish to lead Colorado School of Mines in the final round at The Writz at Mile High at Bear Creek.

Reitter fired a sensational four-under 68, hitting three birdies and an eagle in a four-hole stretch on his back nine, to finish T9 at -1 for the tournament. Playing as an individual, Reitter had shot 74 and 73 in the first two rounds before getting as low as six-under at one point in the third round. Max Lange, the 36-hole leader, ended up T11 at even par following Tuesday's round of 76. Lange, playing as an individual as was Reitter, finished with a birdie to return to even.

Reitter wasn't the only Oredigger with a career day as Ethan Adam carded a two-under 70 for his best collegiate round. Adam moved up to T14 (+1) at the end of the day, coming home with three birdies across his final five holes to be Mines' top scorer. Owen Cornmesser also had a strong finish to wind up T25 (+6), shooting 74 with a three-under back nine, while freshman Lukas Taggart shot even-par 72 for the best round of his young career to rise to T36 (+9). Jake Welch also finished T36 after a tough round of 82, and Carter Lolli's 77 put him at T50 (+14) with Connor Downey in 71st after a round of 81 (+26). Individual Jonathan Trigg shot 82 for T67 (+21).

Mines ended up where they started the day in seventh place overall at +38. CSU Pueblo held off a late charge by Colorado Christian to win team honors at +8, four shots ahead of the Cougars, who were led by medalist Adam Duncan (-6).

The Orediggers have a quick turnaround to play at the Sonoma State Regional Preview in California on Sept. 19-20.
