AMARILLO, Texas
- Lukas Taggart finished tied for first and Colorado School of Mines surged into third place to wrap up the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational at Amarillo Country Club.

UT Permian Basin's Sangha Park prevailed in a playoff with Taggart for individual medalist honors after the two dueled it out all afternoon. Taggart came into the clubhouse as the one-shot leader at -9 before Park, playing three holes behind, birdied the 15th and 16th to take the lead. Park held that one-shot lead until a bogey on the 18th sent them to a playoff, where Park sank a 60-foot birdie putt to win.

Taggart and Max Lange, who finished sixth at -2, led the Orediggers up the team leaderboard as they climbed two spots to finish third in their toughest field faced of the fall season. Mines finished ahead of all four ranked teams in the field, with #22 Midwestern State (4th), NAIA #7 Wayland Baptist (7th), #19 Cameron (8th), and #17 Colorado Christian (10th) behind them.

Taggart trailed Park by three shots heading into the third round but had a three-under front nine on his way to a third consecutive 68 on the par-71 course. Meanwhile, Lange shot an even-par 71 to finish out his third consecutive top-10 finish. Ethan Adam had a great finish to be the third scorer at 72, marking two birdies over his final four holes to rise to T37 at +7, and Lucas Schulte's eagle on 13 highlighted his round of 74 to help him finish T61 at +13. Owen Cornmesser was Mines' non-scorer shooting 79, finishing T89 at +26.

After twin rounds of 288 yesterday, Mines shot 285 to separate from a crowded pack and settle at +9, two shots ahead of Midwestern State. Dallas Baptist won the team title at -1 with West Texas A&M second at +2. The Orediggers have now finished in the top three in each of their three tournaments this fall.

Mines returns to the Denver metro area next week to play in the Regis Fall Invite at Walnut Creek Preserve in Westminster starting Monday.
