Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The first set of numerical rankings were released on Wednesday for the eight regions that represent the footprint of NCAA Division II women's soccer, and after being one the teams under consideration in last week's initial rankings, the Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team officially checked in at #2 this week.

The regional rankings determine the top teams from each of the eight regions that qualify for the NCAA Division II Championship. The Orediggers (13-2-3 overall, 13-2-3 in-region) currently sit atop the RMAC standings, but are idle on the final Wednesday of the regular season November 1 and will await the conclusion of the day's games to see who their postseason opponent will be when they next play Sunday November 5 at 1 p.m. at Stermole Stadium in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's soccer championship. Mines will be no worse than the #2 overall seed in this year's edition of the event.

Early season opponent Dallas Baptist (10-0-4 overall, 10-0-4 in-region) sits atop the region followed by mines, Texas Woman's (11-1-4, 10-1-4), UCCS (10-3-3, 10-3-3), Colorado Mesa (12-3-1, 12-3-1), St. Mary's (TX) (8-4-5, 8-4-3), Texas A&M International (7-3-5, 6-2-4) and Regis (12-4-1, 12-4-1).
