2024 Mines Football Schedule
GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines has set its 2024 football game dates with an all-new schedule set for the five-time defending RMAC champions.
Both of the Orediggers' non-conference series will be against new opponents in 2024, with the season opening at Marv Kay Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 5 under the lights against West Texas A&M in the Buffs' first-ever visit to Golden. Week 2 will be a road trip across Kansas to visit an old foe in Washburn on Sept. 14 as the Orediggers and Ichabods renew a series that has been dormant since 2010.
A new RMAC schedule cycle begins after that with a Sept. 21 visit to Chadron State before Homecoming on Sept. 28 against Black Hills State. Mines will also have home conference games on Oct. 12 vs. South Dakota Mines, Oct. 26 vs. Western Colorado, and the regular-season finale Nov. 16 vs. Fort Lewis; away contests are Oct. 5 at Colorado Mesa, Oct. 19 at Adams State, Nov. 2 at New Mexico Highlands, and Nov. 9 at CSU Pueblo.
Mines is coming off its second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division II championship game, going 14-1 in 2023 and winning a fifth consecutive RMAC crown. Home fans got their money's worth this past fall as the Orediggers went 9-0 at Marv Kay Stadium.
