United Soccer Coaches Week 6 Top 25 Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The sixth regular season rankings from the United Soccer Coaches Association were released on Tuesday and following a pair of road wins to remain unbeaten in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action, the Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team maintained their position atop the polls for the third consecutive week.

Mines (11-0-1, 5-0-1) didn't have much issue over the weekend, picking up 5-1 and 3-0 wins over Fort Lewis and Western Colorado respectively. Reese McDermott was one of six different goal scorers this weekend as she found the net three times, including twice against the Skyhawks. Gaby Guerrero scored her first career goal in that match as well while Kaitlyn Manalili and Ellise Putnam each added one. Sunday against the Mountaineers, McDermott was joined in the scoring column by Bella Campos and Laura Butler. Campos also had two assists against FLC as did Cloey Seltzer while Manalili, Jolie Jiricek and Lauren Clingman were all also credited with assists.

Second through fourth in the rankings this week remained the same with Cal Poly Pomona, Columbus State and Ashland keeping pace with Mines while Concordia Irvine moved up to fifth after Central Missouri dropped all the way to #25 this week.

Colorado Mesa cracked the polls this week at #22 while MSU Denver continued to receive votes heading into week four of RMAC action.

The Orediggers return home this weekend to Stermole Stadium, where they'll play four of their final six regular season matches starting with Colorado Christian and MSU Denver on Friday and Sunday.
