Orediggers Remain Atop Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Ahead of their postseason opener in the RMAC Tournament semifinals Thursday, the Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team remained atop the final set of ordered regional rankings from the NCAA.
 
The regional rankings determine the top teams from each of the eight regions that qualify for the NCAA Division II Championship. There was no change to the eight teams in this week's list as Dallas Baptist (12-1-3), Angelo State (11-1-5) and Midwestern State (10-3-5) went 2-3-4 behind the Orediggers. Colorado Mesa (13-3-2), who was bounced from the RMAC Tournament on penalty kicks Monday was fifth and MSU Denver (10-3-6) was sixth. Two more LSC teams round out the week's eight teams in Texas Woman's (11-3-3) and St. Mary's (TX) (9-5-3).

Mines (17-0-1) host UCCS im the first of two RMAC semifinals Thursday at 1 p.m. at Stermole Stadium.
