Adam Leads Mines To Fifth-Place Finish

BOULDER CITY, Nev.
- Colorado School of Mines finished fifth as they wrapped up play at the 2024 RMAC Men's Golf Championships at Boulder Creek GC.

Mines shot a team 296 to slip to fifth place at +4 for the tournament. They were led by senior Ethan Adam, who ended up the top Oredigger on the leaderboard with his T15 finish, shooting 73 to settle at even par for the tournament with his round highlighted by an eagle on the fourth. 

Lukas Taggart also came in with a 73, finishing on a birdie to be tied for 19th at +2, while Theodore Reitter got into the scoring with a 74 to finish 27th at +9. Jake Welch had Mines' fourth score of the day with a four-over 76 to be T21 (+3), and Max Lange was the non-scorer as he shot 78 to settle at T21 (+3). 

Colorado Christian won the team championship at -30 ahead of Colorado Mesa (-21) with a hard-charging CSU Pueblo, -10 on the day, third at -14 and Fort Lewis fourth at even par. CCU's Adam Duncan won the individual title at -13 ahead of CSUP's Jeff Nelson (-11).
