LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Lukas Taggart climbed up the leaderboard in the second round of the NCAA West/South Central Regional, shooting even par on Friday at University GC.

Taggart carded a 71 to jump 27 places and into a tie for 35th at +4 through 36 holes. The sophomore attacked the front nine with three birdies against two bogeys to hit the turn under par, then was one-over on the back nine despite a solid finish that saw him go one under through his final seven holes.

There is a three-way tie for the individual lead at -6 with Colorado Christian's Adam Duncan, Oklahoma Christian's Leandro Mihaich, and Cal State San Bernardino's Chris Wardrup. West Texas A&M (-5) holds the team lead by a shot over CCU. 

Taggart will tee off Saturday's final round at 10:50 a.m., paired with Cal State Dominguez Hills' Francis Bautista and Art U's Giulio Zanichelloi.
