GOLDEN, Colo. – Colorado School of Mines Baseball Head Coach Robby Bales has announced a full slate of festivities for Mines' Homecoming@150 running Sept. 27-28 which will be open to all Oredigger baseball alumni and supporters.
 
Celebration begins on Friday with the Mines Baseball Alumni golf outing at 10:30 a.m. at West Woods Golf Club in Arvada, Colo. On Saturday, festivities start with the Mines Athletics Tailgate and Silent Auction at 11 a.m. in Steinhauer Fieldhouse. That event taking the place of the Mines Athletics Hall of Fame banquet. The day continues with the Oredigger football team facing off against Black Hills State at 1 p.m. Alumni batting practice will follow the game at Jim Darden Field at 5 p.m. with the annual alumni game beginning at 5:30 p.m.
 
There are different prices available for the various weekend activities. Registration for Friday's golf outing is $225 with a young alumni rate (within five years of graduation) of $200. That price includes 18 holes with a cart, lunch, and a gift bag at West Woods. All additional proceeds from the golf outing go directly to the Mines Baseball Foundation.
 
The cost to attend the Mines Athletics Tailgate and Silent Auction on Saturday is $100 with a young alumni rate of $50. That cost gets attendees endless food and drink while enjoying live music along with a silent auction benefiting Mines Athletics. There will also be a bounce house, face painting and more. Attending or participating in alumni batting practice or the alumni game is free, but donations to the program are welcome and accepted. General admission tickets to the football game can be purchased in advance for $15.
