ARLINGTON, Texas - Colorado School of Mines senior long snapper Josh Wojciechowicz has added another senior all-star game invitation, accepting a spot in the East-West Shrine Bowl

One of the premier showcases for college seniors ahead of the NFL Draft, the 100th edition of the Shrine Bowl will be played Jan. 30 at the home of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game will air live on NFL Network. Earlier this week, Wojciechowicz also accepted an invitation to the Hula Bowl, to be played Jan. 11 in Orlando.

One of the nation's best long snappers, the 6-3, 240-pound Wojciechowicz was a three-year starter, appearing in 45 career games with 42 consecutive starts since 2022. The RMAC's first-team snapper in 2024, Wojciechowicz was part of NCAA Division II's best punting unit each of the last two years, including a 42.8-yard net punting average in 2024 as Mines led the nation in that category again. In 2023, he was the nation's only snapper to work with all-Americans at both punter (Blake Doud) and kicker (Hunter Pearson), and Doud would go on to earn consensus first-team all-America honors again in 2024 while kicker Matthew Eich was an all-RMAC pick.

A rare combination of size and speed, Wojciechowicz had six career tackles and one forced fumble on punt coverage, including four tackles out of only 13 opponent punt returns as a senior. Wojciechowicz has a B.S. in electrical engineering from Mines and is completing a master's degree in nuclear engineering.

The longest-running college all-star game in America, the East-West Shrine Bowl has an incredible legacy of sending players to the NFL, and includes Tom Brady, Walter Payton, Lawrence Taylor, John Elway, and Gale Sayers among its alumni. The game benefits the Shriners Children's Hospital. The Shrine Bowl will be coached by members of NFL coaching staffs that did not advance to the playoffs, and will also feature NFL game officials.
