Men's Ratings / Women's Ratings

NEW ORLEANS - Colorado School of Mines' track & field teams have debuted in the top 10 of the first USTFCCCA Indoor National Rating Index release on Tuesday.

The Oredigger men are #3 and the women are #6 to lead all RMAC teams on both sides, buoyed by a number of national-leading performances. The ratings index is based on each team's NCAA provisional marks and their standing on the national performance list.

The men's #3 ranking is its best since the 2022 season and their best debut poll since 2020. The Orediggers have three NCAA Division II-best marks on the season with Everett Delate (60 hurdles), Loic Scomparin (3,000m), and Tim Thompson (800m) all leading their respective events, while they have collected nine top-10 and 12 top-15 spots overall on the national performance list.

For the women, #6 marks their highest ranking since the 2021 season and their best debut showing ever as they are led by Jenna Ramsey-Rutledge's national-best 5,000m time. Avery Wright ranks #3 nationally in the pentathlon and #6 in the 60m hurdles, while Hayley Rayburn is #2 in the pole vault among 10 top-15 showings overall.

Mines will host the Winter Classic & Multi this Friday and Saturday, with a selection of athletes also going to the Colorado Invitational in Boulder and the Terrier Classic in Boston.
