COLORADO SPRINGS –
Hailee Martinez earned RMAC Setter of the Week distinction Monday after her outstanding performance for the Colorado School of Mines volleyball team over the weekend.
Martinez claimed her third weekly award of the season after helping Mines go 1-1 on their road trip to CSU Pueblo and Colorado Christian. Thirty assists, seven digs, and one service ace weren't quite enough in a three-set loss to the ThunderWolves. However, Martinez bounced back with 58 assists, eight digs, and one service ace in the Orediggers' 3-1 victory at CCU. The 58 assists marked a career high for the Mines graduate student. For the week, she ranked #1 in the RMAC in total assists and assists per set. She also leads the conference this season in both categories.
The next action for Martinez and the Orediggers will be at Fort Lewis on Friday and at Western Colorado on Saturday. Free live stats will be available, as well as live video with a subscription to the RMAC Network.
