The Colorado School of Mines Women's Club Soccer team is gearing up for their final two matches of the regular season before the regional tournament, with back-to-back showdowns against the University of Colorado and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
First, the Orediggers will travel to Boulder on Saturday, October 25, to face the University of Colorado at 2:00 PM. This will be a rematch from the CU Boulder Invitational a few weeks ago, where Mines lost in a PK Shootout. Mines will look to carry momentum into the weekend after a competitive season, testing their skills on the road against a familiar opponent.
Mines returns home on Sunday, October 26, to host the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs at 5:00 PM at the Stermole Track & Field Complex. The Orediggers aim to finish the regular season strong in front of their home crowd, sharpening their game before heading into the regional tournament.
With both matches marking the final opportunities to fine-tune lineups and strategies, Mines will be relying on leadership from their experienced upperclassmen and a balanced attack to set the tone. The team is focused on cohesion, execution, and staying sharp in anticipation of postseason play.
Fans can follow Saturday's game live online and attend Sunday's matchup in Golden, supporting Mines as they close out the regular season and build momentum heading into the tournament.
