The Colorado School of Mines Men's Club Soccer team is set to compete at the 2025 Region V Soccer Tournament this weekend at the CHI Multisport Complex in Omaha, Nebraska. The Orediggers enter a strong field in the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Soccer League (RMCSL) Pool, looking to secure one of the coveted bids to the national tournament.
Mines opens play on Friday, October 31, at 8:00 PM CT against No. 2–ranked University of Kansas. On Saturday, November 1st, 12:30 PM CT Mines will showdown against top-seeded Grand Canyon University. The Orediggers will conclude pool play later that day with a 7:30 PM CT matchup versus No. 4–ranked University of South Dakota.
The tournament format features four pools, with each pool champion and the next two highest-ranked teams across all pools advancing to the final round on Sunday, November 2, beginning at 10:45 AM CT. Final round seeding will be determined by pool points, goal differential, goals for, goals against, and total wins, with each game serving as a direct qualifier for the national tournament.
With a balanced roster and strong leadership across the field, Mines will aim to carry their momentum from the regular season into a competitive weekend in Omaha. The Orediggers' focus will be on maintaining composure in high-pressure matches and converting scoring opportunities against some of the region's best programs.
