COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After helping the Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team remain unbeaten at home over the weekend against Colorado Mesa and Westminster, senior netminder
Allie Lundgren has been named RMAC Goalkeeper of the Week presented by Genesee Nutrition.
Lundgren has now earned Goalkeeper of the Week honors twice this season (Oct. 14) and five times in her career, all of which have come since the start of the 2024 season. Her honor this week brings the total of weekly awards for the Orediggers in 2025 to five, as she is the second player to earn multiple honors this season alongside
Natalie Rouse.
Lundgren had one of her busier weekends of the season between the pipes staring down the Mavericks and Griffins to close out a four-match home stand. In a Top 25 showdown against CMU Friday night, she recorded a career-high nine saves against 27 shots faced as she directed a scoreless draw against one of the most high-powered offenses in the conference this fall. Sunday against WU, Lundgren rebounded from an early goal to finish with four saves and helped direct a second half shutout with a depleted back line and more than a handful of field players playing out of position in a 2-1 win. For the weekend, she recorded 13 saves against 41 shots faced with a shutout and one goal allowed.
Mines (10-2-2, 7-1-1) will take to the road Friday when they travel to New Mexico Highlands before returning to Golden for their regular season home final Sunday against Adams State.
