The Orediggers showed grit and fire in their weekend series, bouncing back from a tough Game 2 loss with an explosive offensive performance in Game 3.
In Game 2, pitcher Noah Dolan turned in a solid outing on the mound, tossing five strong innings and keeping the Orediggers in the game. Dolan allowed six runs on seven hits while striking out five. Despite some late pressure from the opposing lineup, his composure and command helped the team stay competitive throughout the contest.
The momentum carried into Game 3, where the Orediggers' bats came alive. The lineup combined for 11 hits, showcasing depth and timely hitting up and down the order. The highlight of the day came from Skylor Wild, who launched a grand slam that broke the game open and electrified the dugout. Zack Thomases also had a standout performance at the plate, ripping two doubles and driving in key runs to extend the lead.
From start to finish, the Orediggers played with confidence and energy, turning quality pitching and clutch hitting into a statement performance. The team's resilience and offensive spark in Game 3 set a strong tone heading into their next matchup.
