The Colorado School of Mines Men's Club Soccer team is back in action this Sunday, October 12th, as they host Colorado College at 1:00 p.m. at the Stermole Track & Field and Crouch Field Complex in Golden.
The Orediggers enter the matchup on a roll after a dominant 5-2 win on the road against the University of Wyoming last weekend. Mines broke open a 1-1 halftime tie with an explosive four-goal second half to secure the victory and continue their strong midseason form.
Mines has put together an impressive stretch of results this fall, boasting a 2-1-3 record highlighted by gritty performances against top competition. The Orediggers have battled to hard-fought draws with Colorado Mesa and Colorado State, and picked up key wins at Air Force and the University of Denver.
Sunday's contest marks another important test as the Orediggers look to keep their momentum going in front of the home crowd. With the season winding down and another home match still to come, Mines aims to build on its recent success and strengthen its position in RMCSL play.
