The Colorado School of Mines Women's Club Soccer team returns home this Sunday, October 12th, for an 11:00 a.m. matchup against Colorado College at the Stermole Track & Field and Crouch Field Complex in Golden.
The Orediggers are coming off an encouraging weekend at the CU Invitational, where they earned a decisive 4-0 win over the University of Denver and pushed top-ranked Colorado to a scoreless draw before falling in penalties. The strong tournament performance showcased the team's growing chemistry and determination as they move into the final stretch of the regular season.
Through a challenging early schedule, Mines has continued to show resilience, highlighted by wins over Denver and Colorado Mesa and a hard-fought road draw at the University of Denver earlier in the year.
This weekend's matchup marks another key test for the Orediggers as they look to carry their tournament momentum into home play and pick up a vital RMCSL victory. With another home game still ahead later this month, Mines will aim to finish their fall campaign strong in front of their supporters.
