The postseason has arrived for Mines Esports, and several Oredigger squads are gearing up for deep playoff runs across League of Legends, Valorant, Counter-Strike, and Rainbow Six Siege. With strong regular-season finishes and rising momentum, Mines now turns its focus to the most important stretch of the year.
The action begins on Monday, November 17, with two League of Legends teams competing in the opening rounds of their respective playoff brackets.

League of Legends Junior Varsity enters the Round of 6 against Virginia Commonwealth University at 6:30 p.m. MT, looking to continue their impressive improvement and tactical adaptability that powered them through the regular season.

At the same time, League of Legends Varsity kicks off its postseason in the Round of 8 versus Northeastern Illinois University. Undefeated through the regular season and boasting dominant objective control, Varsity will look to maintain its high-level macro play as it aims for a championship run.
Playoff week continues on Thursday, November 20, when Valorant Junior Varsity—coming off an undefeated season—enters the Round of 8 against UNC Pembroke at 6:30 p.m. MT. With sharp mechanics, disciplined utility, and standout fragging from across the roster, the JV squad heads into playoffs as a legitimate threat to win it all.
On Friday, November 21, Counter-Strike Varsity opens its postseason in the Round of 15 against Radford University. With several highlight-filled performances throughout the regular season, Mines will lean on their clutch potential and strong calling as they look to advance to the next round.
Rounding out the postseason slate, Rainbow Six Siege Varsity—one of Mines' most dominant teams this semester—returns to action on Tuesday, December 2 in the Semifinals after earning a first round bye. After an undefeated regular season and multiple statement wins, the R6 roster enters the semifinals as a top contender for the title. They will be taking on William Penn University.
With five teams beginning their playoff journeys, Mines Esports is positioned for one of its strongest postseason pushes to date. Fans can tune in to support the Orediggers live through the official Mines Esports streams.
